1945 A big part of the b/w negative archive was placed elsewhere and could therefore be saved and after the war continued to be used in the archive run by Alfred Tritschler.
In post-war Germany, Paul Wolff was unable to continue with his previous success. 1951 Paul Wolff dies at the age of 64 after a long term illness.
