Walker Evans:
Walker Evans born in St. Louis in 1903, he took many of his finist pictures during the depression years, including his renowned photographs for the Farm Security Administration and for the book "Let Us Now Praise Famous Men", among his other books are "The Crime of Cuba, 1933" and "American Photographs" from 1962. He worked as editor at Time magazine und moved to Fortune magazine as Staff photographer, later named associate editior. 1971 the monograph "Walter Evans" published, accompanying a major retrospective exhibition at the Museum of Modern Art. New York. Walker Evans dies 1975, April 10 in New Haven, Connecticut Walker Evans is widely regarded as one of America's greatest Photographers.
